Black Spot Algae can appear even in swimming pools that are properly disinfected, particulary when Goodbye GreenPool is not used to condition the pool. However Goodbye Black Spot used in conjunction with Surex Algaecide will quickly restore your pool in good health.

Directions for use:-

1. Reduce pH of the pool water to between 7.0 and 7.2 - with Surex pH Minus.
2. Brush the affected areas with a stiff bristled brush to loosen the algea deposits and soften the wax coating that surrounds them.
3. Clean the pool thoroughly. Vacuum the walls and floor.
4. For every 10,000 gallons of pool capacity (45 cubic metres) add 375 ml of Goodbye Black Spot to the pool water, near the inlets.
5. NB Double the dose rate is recommended for severe algae infestations.
6. After 24 hours restore the pH to between 7.4 and 7.6 with Surex pH Plus and resume swimming.
